Here I am!

I have some blogs I read on here, figure it would be easier to keep up if I started my own blog! :-)

So, guess I'll start with who I am.

I am Cassie!



Sorry that pics on my wedding day. It's the only "current" one of myself I could find that I liked. And it's not all that current. That was on my wedding day!

I married my love on June 13th, 2008.



We had a beautiful baby girl on November 16th, 2008. (Oh yes... math doesn't quite add up right? We were engaged Aug of 07 and had a bit of an "oops" Feb of 08.) Best oops ever if I do say so myself. Anyways - she's 9 months old now and totally adorable. She is silly too. And dramatic. Seriously. DRA-MA-TIC!!

Anyways - there's the start of my life.

I work full time. Which stinks. Because I would much rather be a stay at home Mommy to my darling little drama queen. I am sad every day going to work. But - work is necessary. My husband hangs drywall and, as you all know, the economy sucks. Therefore - building of new houses sucks. Meaning - husband stays home with my little drama queen a lot. I'm slightly jealous. But so glad they are getting this bond. She is a Mama's girl though.. even though I'm not home with her every day. (I love this fact!)

I work for a health insurance company. So - ya know, thats a bit scary right now. Who knows what health care reform is going to happen and how that is going to affect my job. We totally need to fix the flawed system. Hopefully they don't just go for a "quick fix" that isn't really going to fix anything. Other than the scary part. And the rather be a stay at home Mom part, I do like my job quite a bit.
